Blyth Battery Weekend ( Return to Diary Page )

Only a small number of DTVA club members were able to attend this event and joined the re-enactors in support of the Blyth Battery restoration project and the unveiling of the plaque. The event was also attended by an ex serving member of Blyth Battery flown all the way from Canada for the occasion. He was pleasantly surprised at being collected by Steve's taxi and at the reception formed by a number of re-enactors in period dress, a memorable weekend for all who attended.
